Facilitated an “action track” with participating engineers, city and finance experts during the American Society of Civil Engineer’s Future World Vision Leadership Summit ahead of the International Conference of Sustainable Infrastructure (ICSI) with a goal to identify the biggest barriers to sustainable and resilient urban infrastructure and develop clear, actionable plans to bridge these gaps. The Summit resulted in the launching of a new Coalition for Sustainable Infrastructure, bringing together engineers with a diverse set of stakeholders with the aim of uniting the global engineering community’s expertise and resources to advance sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions. Under the umbrella of the Coalition, GCoM is advancing a new partnership between member engineers and cities, including support for project development to advance sustainable infrastructure projects from concept to a stage for investment and implementation.
