This program is administered by the Department of Environmental Quality. DEQ is currently managing projects to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations throughout Oklahoma. The purpose of this program is to increase access to EV charging infrastructure in the state. Approximately $3. 1 million total from the Volkswagen State Environmental Trust (15% of funds) is available through this program. DEQ announced a second round (FY 2021) of $1. 1 million to target 15 locations to continue expanding the electric charging network in Oklahoma. This program will reimburse up to 80% of the cost for charging station projects. The first round focused on two Transportation Corridors and Single Point Locations.
