This program is administered by the Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development. The Community Planning Grant program under the Alaska Climate Change Impact Mitigation Program offers grants up to $150,000 to eligible communities. Amounts usually range from between $10,000 and $50,000. Non-Profit groups may administer a program on behalf of a community. Shishmaref has recently won a grant from this program.
